HUCK FINN COMMENTS: Poor Hillary, she refuses to give up. I have to hand it to her for her fighting spirit. This is what America is all about. Against all odds, she keeps pushing her train up the hill towards Denver. No matter what the numbers say. (This is not an endorsement for Obama, Hillary or McCain. I am still undecided. I wish Putin would run to really shake things up.)
Hillary's a true American fighter. If you're not from America, you might not understand why she continues to fight despite the odds stacked against her.
No, Hillary's not delusional for continuing the race, no matter what Howard Dean says, America wants to see the fight between Obama and Hillary go all the way to the Democratic Convention in Denver.
Things will be even more interesting if Hillary runs over Obama in West Virginia and Kentucky. And what a drama it would be if Democrats let Michigan and Florida have their say so. Yes, these two states broke Howard Dean's rule by changing their primary dates, but who'd have thought this race would be so damn exciting?
My vote is to have Michigan and Florida conduct their primaries again. Campaign 2008 would be the biggest drama since the the American Revolution of 1776.
The big question is, who's going to pay the $10 to $15 million per state needed to have Democracy in America? Hmm...what abut Putin? What about our man Vlad? Why can't he pay for the Democracy of Michigan and Florida?
You might wonder why Putin could that? Are you kidding me? Putin, aka Gazprom (he really owns and runs Gazprom, the largest energy company in Russia), could provide a political contribution to Florida and Michigan as his proof that he's a fan of American Democracy.
Russia's back on the major world stage because they produce more gasoline than any country except America. With gas averaging $3.61 per gallon, Putin can afford to give a small donation to prove his love for Democracy.
It's amazing America can't find $20 to $30 million for the Michigan and Florida primaries, but we spend $12 billion a month on the war in Iraq.
What would Putin do if he was asked by Howard Dean to contribute $30 million to pay for the Michigan and Florida primaries?
Da, that is the question.
