PutinToon 50 - The War on Sex

Putintoon50_2

HUCK FINN COMMENTS: Ironically, this is our 50th PutinToon. I thought I'd never get to this number but we're up to PutinToon 60.  I've tried to make fun of things as much I can, but I've always tried to get the Campaign 2008 voters focused on the key issues, not promises. I couldn't get myself to write anything funny about the two topics above so bear with me.

The war in Iraq pales in comparison to the war on the middle class in America.

It's amazing how fast America has sunk in the last seven years as a result of dumb-ass politics. Hindsight is 20/20, but we

really didn't need hindsight over the last seven years.

When George W. won the presidency (I think that's what happened), by the small margin of only 500 votes over Al Gore, it was foreshadowing of things to come. George W. and company remind of me of the Keystone Cops. When you look at the last seven years, it's one cluster f*%k after another. You don't even want to ask, "What else could go wrong?"

If you're a middle class American, I'll bet you feel shell-shocked from high prices of oil and food, along with rising inflation. I'm going to say it again:

The culprit is the high price of oil and the high cost of the Iraq War.

It will cost an estimated $1 trillion dollars by 2009 for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. That's $1,000 billion, America.

Do you know what we could have done with that kind of money in America? Here's the catch. That money is really borrowed money since our deficit is now $9 trillion after George W. came to the White House.

The middle class war we face is nothing compared to the problems many women face in America in regards to sex slavery.

Yes, sex slavery. If you don't believe there's sex slavery in America, I'll sell you a bridge in San Francisco.

America, the land of the free, imports illegal aliens (I'm sorry it's 'undocumented workers' now) to be sex slaves in Houston, San Francisco, Dallas, New York, etc. Depending on the area of the country, the women are illegally brought in from South America, Asia and Eastern Europe with promises of good jobs in America, "the land of the free." The "good jobs" these women get are being forced to give a dozen to thirty blow jobs every night. And that's just the beginning. MSNBC ran a recent documentary, MSNBC Undercover: Sex Slaves in America, which made me literally sick to my stomach.

MSNBC showed one woman who was trafficked illegally across the Texas border and brought to one of the seedy places in Houston. The woman came to America planning to make an honest living, but was forced to be a sex slave until her "transportation costs" were paid up. She ended up having to perform all kinds of sexual services on between ten and thirty guys, EVERY NIGHT!

I am ashamed for the male sex.

I don't care what any of the men who pay for prostitutes say, they know these women aren't there of their own will. What young girl grows up with hopes and dreams of becoming a prostitute? What we need today is a "Martin Luther King Jr." for the sex trade problem. We need a candidate who'll address this very embarrassing and disgusting issue.

We spend billions of dollars on war in the Middle East, but we don't have the resources to stop, punish, and enforce sex trafficking and sex trade right here in United States of America.

We meddle in Kosovo to free a country that has no right being their own country, but can't free women who are forced to perform sex unwillingly. The big irony is that Kosovo is one of the trading hubs for human trafficking and sex slavery.

I have a dream. I dream of the day that human trafficking and sex slavery will be stopped.

I can't bear the thought of any woman having to perform sex on twenty to thirty guys every night in order to pay off her illegal transportation fees. I pray that one of our presidential candidates will stand up and make this an issue in Campaign 2008.

Please check out the MSNBC deocumentary SEX SLAVES IN AMERICA.

In the meantime, America is braced for a possible war in Kosovo, so the American taxpayer needs to kindly open up their checkbooks again. So far, we have the following wars:

(1) War on Terrorism. This is justified.

(2) War in Afghanistan. What war? We're losing there.

(3) War in Iraq. This is not really a war. This is a mission to free the Iraqi people out of misery and bring democracy to a Muslim country. Yeah, right.

(4) War on the Middle Class in America. The recession is here and Congress is still sitting on their ass, not doing enough. And if you think rebates are the solution, then think again. The higher price of oil is going to make those rebates go to the pump and back to Middle East. (See PutinToon 22: Where your dollars go from Gas Pump and PutinToon26: Bush's 7-Year Economic Legacy )

(5) War in Kosovo? Okay, American taxpayer. Get your wallets out again. It's gonna cost you. Kosovo has a 32% unemployment rate, two million people and $3.4 billion gross domestic product.

Now, who do you think is going to support Kosovo's ass from an economic and military standpoint? Good news. It's going to be you. Wait and see.

World War I started in former Yugoslavia. World War II was really a continuation of World War I. Kosovo could create another cluster f*%K for Europe since 17 European countries recognize Kosovo independence and 10 European countries do not.

Russia and China do not recognize Kosovo. If these two large countries don't recognize it, Serbia isn't going let Kosovo go that easy. Kosovo is an area of deep religious and historical importance to Serbia. A similar analogy would be if a certain group of people populated Washington D.C. then decided to make it their own country.

So, what we have here is continuous bleeding of American wallets to support so many wars that I'm getting a headache. I hope that there is no war in Kosovo. My wallet's got no mo' money, dude.
