Huck Finn Comments: I've tried to draw new cartoons beyond Rock'em and Sock'em but Obama and Hillary won't let me. After the Pennsylvania primaries, this is becoming Democratic Chairman Howard Dean's worst nightmare.
Obama has made mistakes anyone can understand. Sometimes we say things we don't mean, or are misinterpreted. (I am still undecided folks about who I am going to vote for. I keep thinking Putin will come to America's rescue but no cigar Vodka at this point.)
Obama's elitist-sounding comment about small town folks clinging to their guns and religion was an honest political mistake. He was being honest and it was a mistake. Hillary misrepresenting herself by saying she was being shot down by some evil Serbs (what crap this is) was a dishonest political mistake.
I'm sure you've told your boyfriend/girlfriend, or spouse, things you didn't mean. The end result was a break up or sleeping on the couch. Been there, done that.
Politics is no different than the seduction process. You tell the other person what they want to hear and hope you said it with enough conviction for them to buy into it and go to the dance. Hmm...I don't mean the real dance.
Hillary and Obama have worked hard to seduce the American vote. Voting hasn't been this fun since Bill Clinton made it cool to vote. McCain on the other hand is trying to appeal to anyone who'll listen. It's almost like they are running at two different elections and two different times. It's like the Warp Zone.
It looks like this fight will continue until the Democratic Convention in Denver. Both Obama and Hillary have made blunders that will continue at the convention.
We have to give credit to Reverend Wright for making the Rock'em, Sock'em fight between Obama and Hillary a fight again.
I have personally taken the time to view the Wright videos. Even though Reverend Wright has done great things, he does appear to have racist undertones in some of his messages. You might say he had a little "slip of the tongue."
Bill Clinton has been criticized by the African American community for his actions. President Clinton hasn't said anything nearly as derogatory as Reverend Wright has in some of his sermons and President Clinton is being crucified by the Black community. The sad thing is that President Clinton has done more for black people than some of the black politicians.
I listen to people. I'm not decided. I don't favor Obama or Hillary or McCain. At this point, I don't see a good choice. (Maybe Putin will decide to run and I can evaluate his position on the top 10 issues I wrote about months before CNN also made Economy the #1 issue.)
The problem with this campaign is that race and gender are the key decision factors. Obama has allowed Hillary to stay in the race by saying racist remarks like the comment about his grandmother, and allowing Reverend Wright to come out of retirement and fight for his own legacy.
80% to 90% of blacks are voting for Obama. They want to see a black man in the White House. 50% of the women are voting for Hillary. Based on these facts this is a race issue for blacks, and certainly not for white women.
Obama's remarks have hurt him, because Hillary has came back in Pennsylvania. The soap opera continues and a good portion of it is thanks to Reverend Wright.
If I was Hillary, I would continue to expose Reverend Wright. Not that he needs any help since he's on the circuit now. If I was Obama, I would denounce, rebuke, and reject Reverend Wright. Yeah, the black voters may get pissed off but they'll vote for Obama afterwards anyway.
I have a message for Obama.
Dear Obama,
Dude, get a hold of yourself. If you're going to win the white vote, my half-white brother, you're gonna have to throw Wright under the bus. This may not seem Wright to you, but you've got to do the Wright thing for the white half of your lineage.
Sometime in life, you have to do the Wright thing even though it may be the wrong thing. You had the ability to knock Hillary out of the ring, but you just can't seem to knock her out, Dude. One big reason is Wright.
Dude, get a hold of your white side. You're 50% black and 50% white. I think you forget to mention this to press and voters too.
Obama, stop boxing like sissy Mike Tyson and fight like the great Mohammed Ali.
Just do it. Get Wright with God and rebuke Reverend Wright and maybe you'll knock Hillary out of the ring.
Sincerely,
Huck Finn

What would Putin do? Would he denounce Reverend Wright if he was Obama? Would Putin allow other religions to practice their faith in America if he ran for President? Da, that is the question.
