HUCK FINN COMMENTS: Obama this, Obama that. Obama there, Obama everywhere. I can't flip a channel without seeing something about Obama. I'm just waiting for the Obama Breakfast of Champions Cereal to eat every morning. Obama wine and beer is coming next.
Obama has become Obamassiah.
Even with John McCain's ridiculous "relationship accusations," Obama is still getting more media attention. It's out of control. It's gotta kill Hillary Clinton that Obama's marketing
machine has taken over the media.
Obama has become the Barackuda of the campaign.
There was a time not long ago when he was playing catch up to Hill. Now, he's biting her in the ass wherever he goes.
Texas and Ohio is the last chance for Hillary. If she doesn't win those two states, it's over. Her campaign is just about dead unless she pulls out a miracle. At this point in the stage, it looks impossible for her to win. I've not heard anyone fainting at Hill's campaign rallies like they do at Obama's. Hillary maybe be close in the delegates to Obama but the momentum goes to Obama.
Hillary needs a miracle in Texas similar to how the U.S. Hockey Team needed the Miracle on Ice against the Russians. For those of you who do not remember, Miracle on Ice is one of the greatest comebacks in the history of sports. You might have seen the recent film. College-age American hockey players had to face the great bad-ass Russian Team (composed of professionals) in the 1980 Olympics. Just a few weeks before, the Americans played the Russians in an exhibition match in Madison Garden and lost easily to the Russian Hockey Borgs 10-3.
What the Russians did not account for in the Olympics is the fighting spirit of U.S. coach Herb Brooks. Belief goes a long way in life. Obama has been able to catch up to Hillary because he has belief in himself. You can see it in his eyes.
Even though Obama may not be the most experienced candidate (this is not and endorsement for Obama or Hillary, I'm still undecided), his look, posture, demeanor are displaying belief that he can win. This is why you have not seen him attack Hillary as much as Hillary has attacked him. Obama has the qualities of a Messiah in that you can see the excitement he creates in people around him. I spoke about his oratory qualities in one of my earliest blogs. Obama has the combination of Martin Luther King and John F. Kennedy.
What Hill faces today is nothing short of a need for a Miracle in Texas. Hill has run this campaign poorly because she has not believed in herself. Hillary was the first to mention the possible recession in America, during the New Hampshire debates. But she did not take advantage of her lead because she didn't believe in herself.
Obamassiah has now become the Barackuda. He will devour anything in his sight. Hillary will need to watch Miracle on Ice to figure out how to believe in herself. Getting petty about where Obama took some of the words from another politician just shows her incredible desperation.
I, Huck Finn, of sound mind and body believe that Hillary is going to lose the race. The momentum for Obama is strong that I don't think she has a miracle left. Being a closet mathematician, I believe that Hillary has a 5% chance of winning the Democratic nomination.
It looks like it's going to be Obama vs. McCain at this point, barring any Texas miracles.
The good news is that this campaign has
officially become a circus due to the New York Times accusations about
McCain, so we'll continue to have drama even after Hill leaves the
stage.
Imagine if New York Times posted the accusations about McCain two months ago. Would McCain still be in the lead? Would he even be in the game?
Hillary will need a miracle and I'm sure she's hoping that Obama has some skeletons in his closet.
If
Hillary loses, the natural thing for her to do is consider running
under The Amerikan Party as a Vice President. I don't know if Putin
would have her run as his Vice President.
What would Putin do if Hillary loses? Would he ask Hillary to run with him under the Amerikan Party ticket?
Da, that is the question.
