HUCK FINN COMMENTS: I spent last weekend watching TV, scanning the biased channels at all hours, searching for any mention of Ron Paul. I came up empty with FOX News, CNN, MSNBC, NBC, CBS, and CNBC. I got desperate. I surfed the Disney Channel and still, no Ron Paul. I clicked to the Discovery Channel and still no Ron Paul.
Not seeing Ron Paul on any traditional media channel, I got a little scared.
I started thinking aliens might have abducted Ron Paul so he
could bring order to the galaxy (See Ron Paul UFOs Part 3, Part 2 and Part 1). I haven't called Ron Paul campaign headquarters. I'm afraid if I call and Ron Paul isn't there, my conspiracy theory about Ron Paul being abducted by aliens to save the galaxy will be correct. I'm a prisoner in my own mind.
Where is Ron Paul? The media completely shuns him. Even Mike Huckabee receives more media attention than Ron Paul.
I hope Saturday Night Live will have Ron Paul host their show. I'd bet it would be one of the highest rating shows in the last decade because young voters love Ron Paul.
Traditional media is absolutely, positively, one hundred percent biased against him. (This is not an endorsement for Ron Paul. I'm still undecided but I do believe democracy should be based on fair media.)
Even Ralph Nader has received more attention than Ron Paul for entering the race this past weekend.
Ralph Nader running for president. Why didn't he decide to run earlier? He ran in 2000 under the Green party and took votes away from Al Gore, which enabled George W. Bush to win by 500 votes. He was a spoiler in 2000 elections which got us into all this damn mess.
If Ralph Nader had not run, Al Gore would
most likely won the White House. If Al Gore had been in the White
House, I seriously doubt we would be in Iraq, looking for WMD. (This is
not an endorsement for Al Gore.)
I wonder if the Republicans are paying him to run again since he helped them win in 2000? I could see Ralph receiving flowers and a thank you card from John McCain for entering the race. Ralph Nader has no chance of winning the White House, and is coming in as a spoiler again. Why should Americans vote for him now? If Ralph Nader was so adamant about pushing for what's right in this country, he should have continued to build up the Green Party. We only hear about Ralph Nader during the elections, every four years. Personally, I would have been disappointed if he had not announced his running. I can see it now. It's 2050 and Ralph Nader decides to take a run for the White House one last time.
In the meantime, I hope Ron Paul hasn't been taken by the aliens. We still need America to balance its budget and get rid of the $9 trillion in debt. Ron Paul isn't going to win, but I hope he'll influence both parties to address key issues he's passionate about, such as getting the hell out of Iraq, balancing our budget and sticking to our constitution.
What does Putin think about Ralph Nader entering the race? Was Putin worried about Ralph Nader moving to Russia and running against Medvedev on March 2?
Da, that is the question.
