While drawing PutinToon (subliminal message #1: you must click on PutinToon), I saw Bob Johnson, founder of Black Entertainment Television (BET), on CNN defending Bill and Hillary’s record on racial issues. When I saw Bob, I had already had enough of this race issue.
I met Johnson once. I was impressed with him not because he’s a billionaire but because he’s a very nice man. A true class act. He won’t remember me, but that doesn’t matter. What matters is that instead of defending Hillary against Obama he should have been promoting his party. I’m assuming he’s a Democrat. Dividing the party puts Democrats at risk of losing the independent votes.
Hillary and Obama, you should both be ashamed. Playing the race game on both sides, goes below the belt. Besides, it’s dumb.
THEY'RE BOTH ACTING LIKE DUMB AND DUMBER
America still has racial problems. Whites buy black hip hop music, but that doesn’t mean that either culture has been totally accepting of each other.
Prejudice… Race… Its all work in progress. We have to remember this country was formed by immigrants of all races from all over the world. Half of all of those immigrants were women so how can that even be an issue?
I don’t get it. We always vote for some middle-aged white guy. (Does everyone want a sugar-daddy?) We need to shove race and gender aside and focus on the issues facing us as a nation. Vote for Economy, Vote for Green, Vote for Our Soldiers, Vote for Budget, etc.
A LITTLE SUGGESTION TO HILLARY AND OBAMA:
Younger voters don’t give a sh*% about race or gender. The young vote is concerned with economy, environment and their future. If you’re going to get the young vote, you’ll need to focus on these issues. Not race.
