HUCK FINN COMMENTS: Politics is about money. You have to raise a lot of money to be able to compete for the presidency. It's like raising capital for your business idea. You could have a phenomenal idea, and if the idea needs capital to start it, then you have to raise money from investors such as venture funds, angel investors, etc. If you're not good at raising money, then you're sh*% out of luck.

I wish each candidate could get an "equivalent" promotional budget so that...

the American public can determine how well they can manage their campaign money.

If they spend it foolishly, well, then we know they're going to be spending American taxpayer money foolishly. There should be some kind of control on all the stupid advertising out there... I'm tired of seeing political ads and we're just getting started with this process.

Much can be learned from Mike Huckabee. Maybe each candidate could produce disparaging TV commercials about competing candidates. They could all announce during press conferences that they refuse to run them, however if the press is interested in seeing what they would have seen if they had seen a commercial on TV... The press needs fresh content every day. They can talk about the commercials, analyze them to death and run them during their programs for FREE.

We could also have viewers vote on the best political commercial of the week and only show those. This way, the candidates produce the commercials and watch the media frenzy. The American taxpayer is spared from seeing so many shi%t*% ads this year. What do you think?

Can you imagine Putin having to raise campaign funds to run for our presidency? I can say that would definitely be a "foreign" concept to him. So, I decided to make fun out of it.
