Putin for President: PutinToon 15 - Bush's Energy Independence Plan

HUCK FINN COMMENTS: I've been watching closely President Bush's trip to Middle East. I can't figure out what on Earth he was trying to accomplish.

I heard he sold $20 Billion dollars worth of weapons to Saudi Arabia. (I'm sure our military manufacturers needed a little boost right now since we're in recession.)

During the visit, Bush asked OPEC to increase oil production. The logic behind increasing production is to lower oil prices -- causing the price at the pump to go down, leaving American's with more cash to buy more lead-based crap from China, and allowing American auto companies to keep making BIGGER and larger SUVs, leading to the end of our efforts to make more fuel-efficient cars. Brilliant. Just brilliant.

Energy independence: Just pump more oil!

What would Putin do if he was the President of United States? Would visit the Middle East and kiss their asses? Would Putin attack Iran next to get more oil?
