PutinToon 16 - Got Gaz?

Putintoon16_3

HUCK FINN COMMENTS: While watching President Bush's recent trip to the Middle East, I was amused that our government, with all their super, duper brain-powered analysts would stoop low enough to beg for more oil from the Middle East.

I have nothing against Middle East countries maximizing their natural assets. If I had their incredible oil reserve, I'd do the same -- I'd keep the oil prices as high as possible without putting the world in the recession.

Why does Bush kiss the Middle East's ass instead of making friends with Russia?

The Cold War is over, and Russia isn't the enemy. Russia is no longer a Communist country. If Bush wants to spread ...

PutinToon 18 - Putikini FOR SALE!

Putintoon18_2

HUCK FINN COMMENTS:
Politics is about money. You have to raise a lot of money to be able to compete for the presidency. It's like raising capital for your business idea. You could have a phenomenal idea, and if the idea needs capital to start it, then you have to raise money from investors such as venture funds, angel investors, etc. If you're not good at raising money, then you're sh*% out of luck.

I wish each candidate could get an "equivalent" promotional budget so that...

PutinToon 19 - Ron Paul's UFO Encounter (Part 1)

Putintoon19_8

HUCK FINN COMMENTS: This cartoon is self-explanatory. It's so tough choosing the right candidate amid such mediocrity. When you look at Democrats and Republicans, they're all the same old thing.

THEY'RE ALL MAKING THE SAME PROMISES THAT WERE MADE 4 YEARS AGO

We'd save a lot of money if we filmed the candidates one time and then just repeat the footage over and over on all the TV channels. That would be efficient. We'd cut together a video of them shaking hands with people, giving a few speeches and just play the footage repeatedly. Then, the candidates could vacation in...

PutinToon 17 - Letter from Bush

Putintoon17

HUCK FINN COMMENTS: I'm not trying to do Bush bashing here, but it's incredible how 'out of touch' the Bush administration is when it comes to international policies and relations. President Bush recently flew to the Middle East to (1) promote democracy, (2) promote peace, (3) get more oil and (4) sell military weapons for American defense contractors.

Bushes Middle East Trip

Report Card:

(1) Promote Democracy - F

(2) Promote Peace - F

(3) Get more oil - F+

(4) Sell more weapons - C

After oil rising to $90s and $100s, you'd think our president could sell at least $100 billion dollars of American-made weapons to Saudi Arabia or some of the other Middle East countries who aren't fond of Iran. Saudi Arabia is booming. They can afford to buy weapons.

Bummer, the money isn't being circulated as we want it:

American consumers pays for high prices of oil ==> money goes to Middle East ==> Middle East uses the money to buy more weapons from Unites States.

Instead, the money is being circulated like this:

PutinToon 13 - White House Gossip

Putintoon13

HUCK FINN COMMENTS - I was watching Hillary being interviewed on TV. She went on and on about her 35 years experience as a politician. Experience is good but it won't guarantee success in the White House.

When I look at Congress (both Democrats and Republicans) I see a lot of experienced politicians. That's the problem folks. They have experience making promises then not delivering, running up the national debt, making poor decisions like voting for war in Iraq in order to save the planet from the evil forces of WMD that Sadam had in store for all of us. They have lots of experience in allowing the energy industries to write up the energy bill. The list goes on...

Experience can be a bad thing because a person can turn into...
